SHARON IS A PUBLISHED AUTHOR & VOICEOVER ARTIST
Sharon O. Blumberg retired from teaching in June of 2014. She taught Spanish and English to seventh graders for over 20 years. In addition, she is a published writer for children of all ages and adults, and a voiceover artist.She is married with two grown children. She lives outside of the Chicagoland area. In her spare time, she enjoys writing, working on her voiceover work, and going for long walks with her family.
As a voiceover artist, Sharon has narrated and written children’s short stories and nonfiction articles for Kids Imagination Train ezine for children for the past two years, including some musical accompaniment. She also narrates children’s stories for Short Kids Stories, including some musical accompaniment. In addition, she has narrated around 20 audiobooks for ACX, for audiobooks on Amazon, Audible, and iTunes. She is a participating member of WoVo, world-voices.org.
Sharon has also participated in a number of productions as a narrator for the Blackout City Episodes and as a voice actress in audio dramas for All Better Audio/4077th Productions, among them, Sharon played Miss Hill in “The Hangman’s Dozen, Episode 4: Mr. Beelzy”, and Ida O’Shaunessey in Lance Hardwick Mysteries, “MISHUGANAS FROM OUTERSPACE.” She is a voice actress for Manor House Show, Sharon played The Sorceress in “The Snake Eater’s Gold,” Millie in “Mostly They Are Forgotten,” and The Tour Guide in “The Cabinet of Henri Gamul.”
